Wage equality analysis

"Equal pay for equal work and work of equal value" is a constitutional principle. The amendment to the Gender Equality Act obliges companies with more than 100 employees to prove compliance with the equal pay principle. These companies must carry out a so-called equal pay analysis every four years.

Swiss Economics supports you in carrying out this analysis with scientifically sound methods. In particular, we offer you the following expertise:

Standard analysis model of the Confederation. We carry out the wage equality analysis for you with the help of the standard analysis model of the Confederation.

In-depth analyses. We offer you more in-depth methods for examining wage inequality that go beyond the standard model and allow us to take additional factors into account in the analysis.

Cooperation with the University of Zurich. To ensure a scientifically sound analysis, we cooperate on a case-by-case basis with Prof. Dr. Uschi Backes-Gellner of the University of Zurich, who conducts research in the field of wage discrimination, among other things.
